Our Lady submitted to the Purification only out of obedience to the Law, as she needed no Purification since the Conception and Birth of Our LORD was Pure(did not involve Carnal Concupiscence)& Virginal. All other conceptions(except Our Lady's) are "impure" and "conceived in sin" as a result of Original Sin, thus even the current need for the Mother's Purification, an Exorcism and Infant Baptism.
A tacit denial of Original Sin and it's effects (chiefly Carnal Desire) has led to the current crisis. Carnal acts are not a manifestation of "love" even in Holy Matrimony. Our Lady and St. Joseph loved each other perfectly and more than any other married couple, but there was no Carnal acts whatsoever.
There were no Carnal acts in Eden prior to the Fall and there are no Carnal acts in Heaven. Holy Virginity is mans Original "natural state" and will be mans "natural state" in Heaven. All Carnal acts, in a real sense, are "unnatural" or disordered due to the evil effects of Original Sin.
As long as we continue to believe the lie that GOD gave Adam & Eve the "beautiful gift of sex" we will continue down the path of total debauchery.
