Leo XIV Sings World Youth Day Anthem with Children: Yesterday, Leo XIV joined children attending the Vatican’s summer program Estate Ragazzi in singing Jesus Christ, You Are My Life in the Paul VI Hall. Sound on.
Papa Leone XIV ha vissuto un momento musicale speciale con i bambini di Estate Ragazzi in Vaticano, unendosi a loro nel canto di Jesus Christ, You Are My Life nell’Aula Paolo VI.
The Lepanto Institute has uncovered millions of dollars funneled by the Catholic Bishops of the U.S. to abortion groups, in what may amount to the serious federal crime of charity fraud. Through research conducted over the last several years, Lepanto has exposed what amounts to nearly $8 million, over just the last 5 years, in grants from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) going to groups that support or promote, sometimes very explicitly, abortion, contraception, euthanasia, homosexuality, and LGBT ideology, contrary to the Church’s moral teaching and contrary to the Bishops’ own express assurances to the Catholic laity on their own website and in their annual fundraising for these grants. The grants are given through the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD), which expressly denies that such groups are eligible for or actually receive such funding. Despite such statements, research into the groups that receive CCHD grants reveals a pattern of abortion …
The Church has “frequently wounded the LGBT community through judgmentalism and exclusion,” Washington Cardinal Robert McElroy claimed in a June 20 homily at the homosexual conference Outreach, held at the Jesuits’ Georgetown University. He pointed to "two developments during the pontificate of Leo XIV". The first was a remark Leo XIV made during his trip to Africa in April, when he said that “the unity or division in the church should not revolve around sexual matters.” Cardinal McElroy commented: “Too often both in magisterial statements and on the popular level, sexual sins have been condemned with an ardor that effectively places them in the eyes of many believers as the core moral obligation of Christians.” Leo XIV instead pointed “to the comparative importance of economic justice, war and peace, immigration and racism as key elements of the Christian moral life.” The second development cited by McElroy was the publication of the report of synod's Study Group 9 in May and …ད་རུང་།
"[T]he unity or division in the church should not revolve around sexual matters.” . I agree with this completely, however it is the fruitcake community who insist upon showcasing their respective highly disordered natures. They are the source and cause of the division.
Louie Verrecchio, June 17, 2026 Posts discussing the Thesis (N.B. Cassiciacum), meaning those that point to its deficiencies, always elicit an unusually large response from readers. My most recent one is no exception. One of the respondents is a dear priest friend whose opinions I genuinely value. Rather than reply to his comments in private, the way they were offered, I decided (and he approved) to make a post of our exchange for the benefit (God willing) of all concerned. Initially, it seemed that the points he briefly raised could be addressed in an equally brief manner. I should have known better. The ideas expressed in the Thesis simply do not lend themselves to concise answers as each one invites even more commentary. Below, therefore, is a limited attempt to speak to my friend’s comments. I’ll return to this exercise in a future post soon. In any case, I hope readers will find this effort worthwhile. My friend began his message: Recently you wrote, “the Church possesses within …ད་རུང་།
Faithful Family Leaves Eucharist during Folk Dance: Yesterday, Bree Solstad shared a video on social media showing a man performing what appears to be an Irish or Scottish folk dance in front of the altar during the Eucharistic liturgy. During the dance, one family can be seen genuflecting and leaving the church. According to Solstad, the video was recorded on June 21, though she does not disclose the name of the parish. Solstad is a former pornography producer who announced in 2024 that she had left the adult industry and converted to the Church.
Bree Solstad on X: "This happened during the Mass yesterday. Note the one family that bent the knee to Christ and got the heck out of there. "
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 7,6.12-14. Jesus said to his disciples: "Do not give what is holy to dogs, or throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them underfoot, and turn and tear you to pieces. Do to others whatever you would have them do to you. This is the law and the prophets." "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. How narrow the gate and constricted the road that leads to life. And those who find it are few." angelyelina
Gloria.TV News on the 9th of November. David Jimenez and the Cross Our Leaders Reflect Our Vices “Gregorian Chant: Together on the Way” Before Correcting Another Christian
It would be wonderful seeing members of the Gloria.TV team at Christmas singing a carol from their respective countries. If that's too ambitious, how about Lucinka accompanying with guitar the heavenly carol, “Stille Nacht / Silent Night”? Fr Nay showed great potential in his performance of that classic song “Katyusha”. It was strong & stirring! Christians never give a better witness to this world of their joy in the Lord than when they sing together.

Louie Verrecchio, June 9, 2026 It is the aim of the Unam Sanctam organisation to work for the convocation of an Imperfect General Council to discuss this matter and to consider how the present crisis that affects the head of the Church might be resolved. As of this writing, 12 bishops, 53 priests, and 84 religious have registered their approval of the effort. At present, Bishop Sanborn has taken a hardline stance against the Unam Sanctam initiative, saying that it “will go down in flames as a total absurdity.” This is coming from someone who insists that a man who is determined to propagate “a dogma-less humanism which is in total opposition to the Catholic religion” – total opposition! – somehow enjoys material possession of the Church’s highest office. From its inception, Bishop Roy has repeatedly insisted that the first order of business for Unam Sanctam is not the immediate convocation of an Imperfect Council, but rather for all bishops (and others of note) who recognize that …ད་རུང་།

Saturday, 21st June 1913 Date of Frank Trial Still In Much Doubt Saturday, June 21, 1913 Belief Grows That Case Will Not Come Up Before July 14 or 28 Interest in the Phagan case still centers on the time of the trial of Leo M. Frank. Indications still are that the case will not be tried the week of June 30. Solicitor Dorsey has never finally committed himself on the matter but Colonel Frank A. Hooper, who is associated [with] him, still expects the case to be set for that date. Mr. Hooper expects the trial to last a week. The jail will not have been cleared by June 30, according to court attaches, and it is the general policy of the court to clear the jail of as many cases as possible before entering into a lengthy trial. In addition the Fourth of July, a holiday, comes in the week of June 30 and this might mean that the jury would be locked up during a day that the court was not in session. Still further there is the possibility that the defense will ask for a postponement. Judge L. S …ད་རུང་།
You’ll find me predicting on countless posts on this very website over the last few years, that the modernists would elect a tamer, more subtle BXVI type”pope” to deflate the burgeoning counterrevolution caused by Francis, and consolidate their gains: Two steps forward, one step back. That’s how you keep the conservatives from becoming trads. But the conservatives don’t get it (neither do SSPX faithful).
2nd book of Kings 19,9b-11.14-21.31-35a.36. Sennacherib, the king of Assyria, sent envoys to Hezekiah with this message: "Thus shall you say to Hezekiah, king of Judah: 'Do not let your God on whom you rely deceive you by saying that Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria. You have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all other countries: they doomed them! Will you, then, be saved? Hezekiah took the letter from the hand of the messengers and read it; then he went up to the temple of the LORD, and spreading it out before him, he prayed in the LORD'S presence: "O LORD, God of Israel, enthroned upon the cherubim! You alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made the heavens and the earth. Incline your ear, O LORD, and listen! Open your eyes, O LORD, and see! Hear the words of Sennacherib which he sent to taunt the living God. Truly, O LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste the nations and their lands, and cast their gods into the fire; they …ད་རུང་།
Öffne, HERR, deine Augen und sieh her! Höre die Worte Sanheribs, der seinen Boten hergesandt hat, um den lebendigen Gott zu verhöhnen. Es ist …ད་རུང་།
