During his flight to Equatorial Guinea, Pope Leo XIV responded to questions regarding a potential future consistory. “That is a question that many people want to ask,” he said. He then made it clear that no decision had yet been taken on the timing of a new consistory. "We need to consider the matter from a broader global perspective," he added, also suggesting that the African continent is being given attention.

Today, Leo XIV commented on the possibility of the next consistory and the creation of new cardinals: 'No decision has yet been made on when new cardinals will be created. We need to consider the issue from a global perspective. We hope that, in the near future — or perhaps a little further down the line — the appointment of a new cardinal for Angola can be considered, and that this will be the case for Africa, and perhaps even for Angola.”

Remember there is always those who hate the truth and are liberals, commies etc. RT was banned from countries including the US years ago because of the truth they told. Which they don't want us to know. They don't understand that truth can not be hidden. Propaganda will be destroyed. They banned RT everywhere. From fakebook to youtube to google, aol and all others. In the UK< US, and most Western countries who hate the truth. They can try to bury it, but won't get far because GOD Will not allow truth to be suppressed. At least not for all time.

Cardinal Marx Orders "Blessings" of Homosexuals

Cardinal Reinhard Marx of Munich, Germany, has instructed priests and pastoral staff to perform "blessings" for homosexual couples and adulterers.
A spokesperson confirmed to Die-Tagespost.de on 21 April that all pastoral practice should adhere to the German bishops' guideline, Segen gibt der Liebe Kraft ('Blessing Gives Love Strength'). This guideline is set to become a fundamental element of pastoral work across the Archdiocese of Munich.
Training sessions for pastoral staff on how to conduct these "blessing ceremonies" are scheduled to begin in June.
No couple seeking a blessing should be turned away.
Priests who reject such "blessings" are expected to refer couples to either their dean or other pastoral workers willing to perform them.
Furthermore, Cardinal Marx has urged that the "theological meaning" of the guideline be explained, particularly to those who may "still" struggle with the concept of such "blessings".

Francis Knew "Many" Homosexual Priests

On today's first anniversary of Francis's death, the homosexual activist James Martin SJ shared a memory from 2024. At the time, Francis had made some negative remarks about homosexual priests using the Italian slur "frociaggine" (faggotry) in a meeting with Italian bishops.
A few weeks later, Francis received Fr Martin and discussed the expression. Francis said then that he knew "many holy, faithful, celibate gay priests and seminarians".
When Fr Martin suggested proclaiming this publicly, Francis replied, "Oh, but I think I have. And in any event, you can say that!"
According to Fr Martin, Francis asked back: "So you're saying that I can say you know many holy, faithful, celibate gay priests and seminarians?" Francis shrugged and said, "Of course. Because I do!"
[In reality, the Church has suffered from many unholy, unfaithful, sexually active gay priests.]
A few days later, during an audience with comedians, Fr Martin greeted Francis again. The Pope said, "Thank you for our meeting …ད་རུང་།

Pope Francis remembered in Buenos Aires as ‘guiding light’ for Argentine Church

Catholics marched in a caravan through Barrio Flores section of Buenos Aires, Argentina, April 11, 2026, Pope Francis's birthplace. The late pope remains beloved in poor neighborhoods where he prioritized church attention as archbishop of Buenos Aires. BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (OSV News) — María Rico ambled along a busy Buenos Aires boulevard as part of a caravan through Barrio Flores — the childhood neighbourhood of the late Pope Francis — to commemorate the first anniversary of the Argentine pontiff’s death.
A Neighborhood Remembers
Rico, 66, recalled first meeting the future pope while he was a Jesuit priest. She fondly remembered him returning later as the then-Archbishop Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Buenos Aires routinely visited her modest barrio, or district, where he would walk the streets, celebrate parish feast days and share bowls of lentils with parishioners …

Benedict XVI Never Criticized Restrictions of Latin Mass - Archbishop Gänswein

Retired Pope Benedict XVI never criticised the restrictions placed on the Mass in the Roman rite by Pope Francis, Archbishop Georg Gänswein told LaRepubblica.it on 20 April.
Monsignor Gänswein claimed that Benedict XVI was deeply saddened when he learned about the Traditionis custodes document, but chose not to comment on it.
Reflecting on the relationship between the two popes, Archbishop Gänswein described their differences as ultimately complementary and 'enriching' for the Church.
He now downplayed suggestions of tensions between Benedict XVI and Francis, clarifying that not many conservatives approached Benedict XVI to voice concerns about Francis.
Furthermore, Archbishop Gänswein offered cautious criticism of Francis's notorious remark in July 2013 regarding homosexuals: "If someone is gay and seeks the Lord in good faith, who am I to judge?" Monsignor Gänswein noted that such a statement was "at least surprising coming from a pope".

On 19 April, the Israeli army confirmed that a soldier had beheaded a crucifix in Debel, southern Lebanon. In response, the Christian town wrote: “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do”. The army claimed that it views the incident with “great severity”, that the act is inconsistent with its values, and that an investigation is underway. The army also promised that measures would be taken against those responsible.

The Assembly of Catholic Ordinaries of the Holy Land strongly condemned the desecration of an image of the crucified Jesus in a Lebanese village, calling it a grave offense against the Christian faith and noting similar incidents in the region. They called for immediate disciplinary action, accountability, and firm assurances that such acts will not be repeated, while renewing their appeal to end the war.

‘Easily the Worst President in U.S. History’
nytimes.com/…04/21/opinion/trump-legacy-history-p…
The damage President Trump has inflicted on the United States and the world is so enormous and wide-ranging that it is hard to grasp.
It runs the gamut from public and private institutions to core democratic customs and traditions, from the legal system to universities, from innocent targets of fraud to those duped into believing vaccines do more harm than good.
One way to bring home the depth of Trump’s callousness is to look at a specific case. In May 2025, Anjee Davis, the chief executive of Fight Colorectal Cancer, a patient advocacy group, told CBS News:

President Trump said on Tuesday that the United States was considering offering financial support to the United Arab Emirates, an oil-rich ally that has been contending with economic fallout from the war in Iran.
The war has damaged oil and gas infrastructure throughout the Middle East, dealing a blow to economies that rely on the Strait of Hormuz to transport crude around the world. The U.A.E. is an unlikely recipient of economic support, and the fact that it has inquired about assistance demonstrates the cascading effects of the conflict.

French Church Becomes Brewery and Restaurant

The church Saint-Nicaise de Rouen in Rouen, France, will become a brasserie-restaurant with an additional museum space.
The site dates back to the 7th century, when a chapel was built for the relics of Saint Nicaise.
The current building was reconstructed in reinforced concrete after a fire in 1934 and reopened for worship in 1940.
Due to structural deterioration, water infiltration, and lack of maintenance, the church was closed in 2006 and officially deconsecrated in 2017.
The new project includes a restaurant, on-site beer production, and preservation of some architectural elements. The church’s large organ, completed in 1957 and one of the most important in Rouen, has been removed and will be relocated to another church in Paris for restoration.
Local authorities cited high restoration costs as the main reason for the conversion.

Spanish Serial Killer Moved to Women’s Prison After "Gender Transition": Spanish serial killer Joan Vila Dilmé, known as the “Angel of Death,” has been transferred to a women’s prison after identifying as a "woman" under the name “Aida.” Vila, now 60, was sentenced in 2014 to 127 years in prison for the murder of 11 patients at a care home in Olot between 2009 and 2010. The killings involved lethal overdoses of insulin or psychotropic drugs, while some victims were forced to ingest corrosive substances. Most victims were elderly and vulnerable residents under his care. Vila has been serving his sentence at Puig de les Basses prison since 2010.
