One of the women, Kelli Beard, is a United Methodist minister. She will become an associate pastor at an Arizona church starting in July. The other, Myah Knight, is a mental health therapist who runs a 'religious trauma support group'.
Beard wore an off-the-shoulder champagne-coloured sequined dress, Knight a black suit with matching fedora and white tie. Rev Williams presided over an exchange of promises and blessed the two ladies.

Only a Fr. Martin type of priest would do this. The bishop won't correct him, nor will the Vatican. If a priest so much as married a man and wife in the traditional rite without authorization there would be Hades to pay!
