Cardinal Camillo Ruini, an influential churchmen in Italy, died in Rome on the evening of June 16 at age 95. He had been hospitalized last September with kidney problems and, after an initial recovery, saw his condition worsen in recent weeks. He chose to remain at home under medical care. Born in Sassuolo, in the province of Modena, Ruini was ordained a priest in 1954. He became auxiliary bishop of Reggio Emilia-Guastalla in 1983 and secretary-general of the Italian Bishops' Conference (CEI) in 1986. In 1991, Pope St. John Paul II appointed him to lead the Italian Bishops' Conference, named him Vicar General of Rome, and created him a cardinal. He held the Rome vicariate until 2008 and led the bishops’ conference until 2007. He became, for nearly two decades, one of the closest collaborators of both John Paul II and later Benedict XVI. His tenure as bishops’ president coincided with the collapse of the Democrazia Cristiana, the Christian Democratic party that had been the Church's …Doliwat

Sirach 48:1-14 "The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha." Elisha receives the Spirit of mission and evangelization from the One who Works, God. Matthew 6:7-15 The Lord's Prayer is a masterpiece. The name of God is holy, but we want to improve ourselves and remain in God's holiness. The reign of God is now, since Christ is King and He lives in the Kingdom. We want to live in the Kingdom, in God, now. Allowing ourselves to be loved by God draws us away from sin and evil. The joy of the child within us is a guiding light to lead us into the Heart of God. Biblical texts: NAB-RE Normand Thomas.
Rorate-Caeli.blogspot.com published on June 16 a report about a recent pilgrimage in Italy with a priest of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP). - This group was denied the celebration of Mass at the Shrine of San Giovanni Rotondo (Padre Pio) and instead celebrated Mass in a hotel basement. - At the Basilica in Assisi, they were also denied permission to celebrate Mass in Latin, and they noted that an Orthodox Divine Liturgy was taking place at the same time. - At Loreto, the group was initially denied permission to celebrate Mass, but the priest was finally able to convince the local authorities. However, in Loreto, there was a station for 'Dialogue and Listening' (pictured). Rather than a priest, a nun was 'listening' without a veil and wearing some kind of Roman collar. #newsWfzjowokcn
Leo XIV on the SSPX consecrations — “I am considering making another appeal and saying ‘don't do this, let's try to live the communion of the Church.’ But it is their choice. We must realize what it means for them and for the Church. Certainly, the division among Christians is a painful point. However, they refuse to accept some fundamental elements of the Church, starting with several points of the Second Vatican Council. If they make that choice, I am sorry. But we must move forward”
Il Pontefice annuncia pure che verrà esteso un altro appello ai lefebvriani: “La divisione nella Chiesa è sempre un dolore”

Marksmen will target the animals, known as brumbies, in a major cull across Kosciuszko National Park in New South Wales, where officials say soaring numbers are causing extensive environmental damage. The operation is expected to begin as early as this week and forms part of a government plan to slash the wild horse population from an estimated 6,000 to 16,000 animals to just 3,000 by the middle of next year. The move has sparked outrage among campaigners, who have branded the aerial shooting programme 'completely barbaric' and launched petitions calling for it to be halted. Brumbies have roamed the rugged alpine landscape of Kosciuszko National Park for more than 200 years. Descended from horses lost or released by …
Liberal MP John-Paul Danko immediately interrupted. “Point of order, Chair. Point of order! It is Pride Month and under Standing Order 18, which prohibits personal attacks, insults, and offensive language, the accusation — the question is highly offensive. Highly offensive. I ask the member to withdraw his comments.”
Mark Carney’s Liberals made international headlines once again — this time for claiming that asking for the definition of “woman” is “highly offensive.” At a meeting of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Science and Research on science policy, federal research grants, DEI, and women in STEM, Conservative MP Vincent Neil Ho asked Canadian Chief Science Advisor Dr. Mona Nemer about her background as a molecular geneticist. Nemer confirmed her credentials, and Ho asked, “So you know a thing or two about X and Y chromosomes. So, I want to ask you, what is the definition of a woman?” Liberal MP John-Paul Danko immediately interrupted. “Point of order, Chair. Point of order! It is Pride Month and under Standing Order 18, which prohibits personal attacks, insults, and offensive language, the accusation — the question is highly offensive. Highly offensive. I ask the member to withdraw his comments.” The chair told Ho to “be respectful of everybody,” and he tried again. “Thank …

The billboard, web and social media campaign features clergy, church employees and volunteers posing provocative questions. One poster shows a pastoral worker asking: “Shall we pave the way for the election of the first female Pope?” — followed by the campaign’s signature response: "I’m in." "Devil" Beer Tap in Belgian Confessional: A deconsecrated church built in 1878 in Antwerp, Belgium, has served as a foyer for Theater Elckerlyc since 2025. One confessional now contains a token machine, while another has been fitted with a self-service Duvel 6.66% beer tap. "Duvel" is Dutch for "devil" and is also the name of a Belgian beer brand. An earlier report claimed the diocese had approved the concept, but the article was corrected on 10 June: the diocese says it was not involved in the redevelopment.
I went to their website - heilighartbrouwerij.be/page/foto-s and I could not find any images with Bart Simpson or 666 on any of the images inside this deconsecrated church. Hmmmmmmmmmmm...............
If You Don’t Know How to Respect, Stay Alone If you are not willing to be faithful, honest, and respectful, then do not ask for someone’s heart. A relationship is not a prize to win or a title to wear—it is a commitment that requires loyalty, responsibility, and love. The woman who stands beside you is not there to be taken for granted. She gives her time, her energy, her patience, and often parts of herself to help build a home filled with warmth, stability, and care. She wears many roles every day—caregiver, teacher, counselor, cook, supporter, and partner—often without recognition or applause. Yet some people throw all of that away for a fleeting moment of attention, forgetting the value of the person who has stood beside them through every challenge and sacrifice. Infidelity is not an accident. It is a choice. A choice that damages trust, wounds dignity, and shakes the very foundation of a relationship. The pain it causes reaches far beyond the moment—it affects the person who …Doliwat
Protestant Prayer and the Catholic Mass as “Different Pathways to God”: “Catholic” U.S. Vice President JD Vance appeared to relativize the Catholic Church and the Eucharist during a June 16 interview on Fox & Friends. Speaking about what he called the strength of “the American church,” Vance emphasized the diversity of [contradicting] Christian denominations: “You can't be an American Catholic or an American Pentecostal or an American Southern Baptist without running into someone who has a slightly different perspective on faith.” He added: “It's all about Jesus.” Vance sees "different ways" by which people find God: “Different ways, sometimes with 'snake handlers' [evangelicals in Kentucky], sometimes with speaking in tongues, sometimes with a beautiful Catholic mass, but I think all these pathways really matter and they're part of the reason why we do find our path to God.”
JD Vance: "One of the things I love about the American church is there are all of these different pathways to God ... sometimes with snake handlers, sometimes with speaking in tongues, sometimes with a beautiful Catholic mass. But I think all of these pathways really matter."
Tue Jun 16, 2026 - 1:38 pm EDTTue Jun 16, 2026 - 6:38 pm EDT (LifeSiteNews) — Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, while speaking before the start of the G7 summit, implied that no one country or institution could be left out of or defy a “new world order.” “What one can’t do at this point in a rapidly shifting world order is to rely on one set of institutions, one grouping, one country to provide the answers,” Carney said to reporters on June 14, while in County Mayo, Ireland, on his way to the G7 summit in France, which is taking place from June 15 to 17. While in Dublin, a day before his County Mayo remarks, Carney said that the G7 is where the “New World Order” begins. “The new world order will be built starting with Europe,” he said. “Canada is the most European of non-European countries. We are transforming our cooperation with Europe.” “It’s a recognition that the G7, if it ever did run the world, no longer runs the world or pretends to,” Carney said. Carney has globalist ties…
Lesbian Teacher Made Female Students Kiss Each Other: The Denver Public Schools board, Colorado, has unanimously voted to fire lesbian teacher Jennifer Honka. An investigation had found that she had required female students to take part in classroom skits involving same-sex kissing. She also repeatedly shared personal details about her private life, including discussions of suicide and childhood abuse. An independent review concluded that her conduct demonstrated poor judgement, caused students discomfort, and offered little educational value. The board dismissed her for incompetence and neglect of duty.

An Illinois judge ruled last week that the Archdiocese of Chicago may continue its lawsuit against a group of people accused of making false sexual abuse claims. The lawsuit, filed in 2025, says that more than two dozen people took part in a plan to make false abuse accusations in order to receive money from settlement payments by the archdiocese. According to court documents, the group allegedly recruited people to make claims, coached them on what to say, and shared the money received from settlements. The archdiocese says its investigation was helped by recorded prison phone calls in which the alleged scheme was discussed. The recent ruling does not decide whether the allegations are true. It only rejects efforts to dismiss the case and allows the Archdiocese's lawsuit to continue. The abuse claims involve former priest Daniel McCormack, who pleaded guilty in 2007 to several counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and has many confirmed victims. Cardinal Blase Cupich said the Church …Doliwat
