I once read that the Soviet Communists displayed pictures of Lenin, Stalin, etc. precisely to counter iconography of Christ, the Holy Mother of God, & saints. Kind of eerily reminds me when growing up we had a photo of JFK next to the Sacred Heart in our house!

I wish we were close. I would give you Epiphany water. Anything sold on the internet is not to be trusted. They aren't suppose to sell it online. It is free. I also have a lot of Blessed Salt from Epiphany I would have shared with you.

Our faith is disappearing. And the Russian Orthodox are growing in theirs. While our Church's are desecrated, Russia will not tolerate it. With any religious faith based church and even mosques. They live side by side and help one another. While our Church's are being sold off to muslims. They keep building more in Russia. While the world fights one another, and inside their own countries, Russia helps and protects each other. A mosque on one side, and across the way an Orthodox Church. Russia keeps her faith while most of our Church's are prot/Catholic. More prot than Catholic actually. You will never see any ROC with anything of the no mess we have. It is forbidden in Russia. And what Catholic can stand on their feet for 5 to 7 hours straight?
Some people need to get out of the way back machine they are stuck in. Worse, they don't care about the truth. They refuse to see, listen or read anything about Russia today.
